VialTracker
Quick start guide
From unopened vial to clean history
VialTracker connects what you bought, what you mixed, and what you logged. Inventory, active vials, dose records, saved schedules, costs, and Insights work together. Follow this order the first time and the rest becomes easier to manage.
Just looking? Tap Try it first, no account needed on the sign-in screen. Everything you log moves into your account if you sign up later.

Start here
Use the Today dashboard
- Select the correct subject near the top of the Log screen. A subject is the person whose doses you're logging. Most people only need one.
- Tap Due today to see the scheduled doses that need attention today. This is not a list of past doses.
- Tap a due item to load its vial into the Log screen, or use Repeat last only when you intend to copy the previous record.
- Collapse the dashboard whenever you want a cleaner Log screen.
Active vials count: Only vials that are usable and assigned to that subject are counted. Empty and expired vials are excluded. The top banner also shows protein and water progress when those goals are set.

Before mixing
Add unopened inventory
- Tap Inventory at the top of the app.
- Tap + Add unopened vials.
- Enter the peptide or product, mg in each vial, and quantity. Supplier, lot, and expiration are optional.
- Enter what you paid. Choose Vial price for one vial, or Kit price to enter the kit total and how many vials came in it. The app works out the per-vial cost for you.
- Tap Save inventory. The product appears in the unopened list and syncs with your account.

Track usage, lots, and totals
- Each item shows how many are left, how many you've activated, and, with a price saved, the dollars used and still on hand.
- More than one lot of the same product? They stack into one row. Tap it to open every lot, soonest-expiring first, each with its own buttons.
- When the last vial is activated, the item moves to Used up instead of disappearing, so your spending history stays intact.
- Scroll to the bottom for running totals: unopened vials, activated vials, their value, and the overall total.

Reorder alertsWhen a vial will run out within a week and you have no unopened stock, an alert tells you to reorder.
Keep names consistent: Lots group by product name. "Retatrutide" and "Reta" stay separate.

When you mix one
Activate or add a vial
- From Inventory, tap Activate to prefill the peptide, mg, and cost per vial. Or start directly in the Reconstitute a vial form.
- Enter the BAC water volume, mixed-on date, use-by date, and the subjects allowed to use it. Want to test the math before mixing? Use the Draw calculator card at the top of the Vials tab.
- Add an optional default dose. For a blend, use + Add another peptide. You can apply a saved schedule now or later. Saved schedules remain inactive until you apply one and confirm its start date.
- Tap Add vial. Inventory decreases and the activated count goes up only after the active vial is successfully saved.
Visual vial levelThe liquid graphic and progress bar change with the amount remaining.
Finished and expiredThose vials move to the collapsible archive so active choices stay clean.

Every use
Calculate and log a dose
- Open Log, confirm the subject, and tap the vial to open its dose form. With only one vial, the form is already open.
- Choose the syringe or reusable pen and enter the dose in mg or mcg. If the vial has a schedule, today’s dose is already filled in.
- Review the draw readout and graphic. The app calculates from the vial strength and volume you entered.
- Set the time and tap an area such as Abdomen L or Thigh R. Choose the matching numbered point on that area’s anatomical map. Recent markers show when each exact point was last logged. Add optional notes, or tap Pick them to show only the areas you use for that product.
- Tap Save dose. The form closes back to your vial list. For five minutes, Undo can remove the record and restore the vial volume.
Location detail: Each broad area opens its own anatomical illustration and point locations. The maps are shaped for the selected area, not a one-size-fits-all grid.
Important: VialTracker performs arithmetic and record keeping. It does not recommend a dose or decide what someone should take.
Need to correct it? Tap a dose in Log or History to edit or delete it. Remaining vial volume recalculates automatically.

Built-in education
Use the Peptide KB
- Tap Peptide KB in the header, or the colored information icon beside a large vial name.
- Search by compound, claimed purpose, evidence, or risk. Save favorites and revisit recently viewed entries.
- Compare two compounds side by side, review sources and regulatory status, or share a branded summary card.
- Open Injection sites for the general subcutaneous site map and rotation guidance.
Route matters: The injection-site map applies only to medicines specifically prescribed for subcutaneous use. Product labeling and clinician instructions take priority.

Stay on plan
Set a schedule and reminders
- To save one before you have an active vial, open Schedules from Vials and tap Create saved schedule. Or open a vial, tap Edit, then Set up schedule.
- Choose the peptide and person, then set the start date, days (Daily, Set days, On / off, or Every X days), and dose in units or mg. A saved schedule stays inactive until you apply it to a vial and confirm the start date. If you have already been logging doses, the suggested date can align the steps and breaks with your existing records.
- Dose goes up over time? Turn on Change the dose over time, or let Step up automatically build the steps for you.
- Cycling on and off? Turn on Take breaks and choose where it restarts, such as your maintenance dose.
- Turn on Remind me and pick a time. Reminders only go off on scheduled dose days, never during breaks. Tap one to open Log with the planned product and dose filled in.
- Tap View calendar on the vial to swipe through past and upcoming dose days: logged, missed, breaks, and step-ups. History’s Calendar view shows every product together.

Take breaks
Remind me
When a vial is empty during a break: Discarding or archiving that vial does not erase the product schedule or break. If reminders are on, the next cycle can still remind you when it is due. If no usable vial is active, the due item says No active vial; activate a replacement before logging. The reminder moves to a usable vial of the same product when one is available.

See the bigger picture
Use Insights
- Tap Insights in the bottom bar to review scheduled doses logged (last seven full days), site rotation, protein and water progress, which vial runs out next, spend rate, and cloud sync status.
- Next to run out checks each vial at its own pace and stops at its use-by date, so you know what to mix or reorder first.
- Check Estimated active level to see how each compound decays over time based on the doses you actually logged. Use 7D, 14D, or 30D to change the window. Compounds without verified human data are listed under it as Not charted.
- Use Add today's check-in for weight, energy, mood, appetite, and side effects. Tap a side effect once for mild, twice for moderate, three times for severe. Each symptom stays in Insights for 14 days; associated products are those logged in the 48 hours before that symptom’s latest check-in, not necessarily the last 48 hours from today. This shows timing, not cause.
- Open Backup, restore & reports to download a complete backup, export spreadsheets of doses, check-ins or lab results, or open the clinician report, which includes schedules, weight, labs and side effects. The report opens inside the app. Tap Print or save PDF to share it, or Close to go back.
- Log your weight in a check-in, or add an earlier reading with Add past weight. The Weight card charts your trend over 30 days, 90 days, a year, or all time. It uses the latest reading recorded for each day.
- Use the Insights calendar to open a day’s dose and protein summary. On History, date groups expand and collapse so you can review selected days without scrolling through every entry.
- Add bloodwork on the Lab results card: the test, date, result and the reference range from your report. Tap the ⓘ next to any test to learn what it measures.
- Add Progress photos with captions, tap two to compare side by side, and save one or download them all. They’re private to your account.
- Use Review change history to trace recent saves, edits, deletions, restores, reports, and check-ins.

Scheduled doses loggedCounts doses logged out of those scheduled over the last seven full days, not today. Today is shown on its own line. With nothing scheduled, it shows N/A.
Cloud syncCloud sync healthy means your cloud copy is current. A pending status means the change is saved on this device and will retry when a connection is available.
Estimates, not measurements: The active level chart uses published half-lives and only appears for compounds with human data. It is not a blood level and not a dosing recommendation. Before restoring a backup: Restore replaces the current device and cloud records after confirmation. VialTracker downloads a safety copy first.
